Achieving Pregnancy Naturally: the Fertility MattersTM Method Fertility Enhancement Program
The Achieving Pregnancy Naturally Program takes you through the steps of the Fertility MattersTM Method, a new, life-changing Christian method of fertility awareness, designed to help participants understand, support, and enhance fertility with natural (non-pharmacological, non-surgical) means. This program is designed for couples who have had difficulties conceiving, have had repeated miscarriages or who are looking to conceive sometime soon, and want to maximize their chances of conceiving quickly and having a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. By completing this program, you will:
- Grow spiritually: Growth in holiness is the foundation, the means and the ultimate goal of the Fertility MattersTM Method
- Deepen your marriage: Trying to conceive can be very trying on a marriage. This program leads you to make your marriage a priority and to pursue conception through only marriage-strengthening means.
- Experience increased feelings of peace and joy in your lives: Significant steps in the Fertility MattersTM method include reducing stress and cultivating relationships and activities that bring joy into your lives.
- Experience improvements in your health: You will set your own practical, achievable self-care goals that have demonstrated effectiveness in improving health, including fertility. The Fertility MattersTM Method is an evidence-based course.
- Understand the answers to your vital questions about your fertility
You will meet monthly for private personalized follow-up counseling sessions with either a FMM certified fertility counselor or a FMM certified fertility midwife to help you learn how to observe, record, and interpret your signs of fertility and for further suggestions to help you meet your goal of natural conception. Your instructor will use the valuable information you observe and record to help you create a personal course of action.
For couples preparing to conceive, it is best to meet with your fertility advisor for 3-6 months prior to your target conception date. For couples already trying to conceive, you can expect to meet with your fertility advisor and implement the Fertility MattersTM Method for 6 months to one year, although pregnancies have been achieved as soon as the first cycle after this introductory class. If you have not conceived after one year of fertility counseling (or sooner if necessary) your instructor will provide referrals to qualified medical professionals who understand Natural Family Planning and can provide further medical assistance.
About this Program
Instructor: Christelle Hagen, CCE, CFE (provisional). Christelle is a certified fertility educator and certified childbirth educator. She and her husband Chris taught NFP classes together as certified Natural Family Planning instructors for 9 years. Chris and Christelle used several of the strategies they now teach in order to conceive their firstborn child, after suffering from several years of infertility and two miscarriages.
