Childbirth with Dignity Class Series

This 9-week class series is designed especially for couples in the late second or third trimester of pregnancy. Special features include:

what to expect during the rest of your pregnancy and during birth
how your husband or trusted friend can best help you during birth and beyond
relaxation techniques that help you avoid unnecessary pain, based on the work of natural childbirth pioneer, Grantly Dick-Read
ways to cope with pain: practice comfort measures and discuss pain medications (how they work, and potential risks and benefits)
how to give birth with dignity and even joy
finding a health care provider who will maximize your chances of normal childbirth
why the place of birth matters
why you should avoid unnecessary interventions and how to tell the difference
how to stay involved in the decision-making even if your birth doesn't go as planned
tips to be a successful breastfeeding family

The Facts Only class series consists of 9 sessions of 2 hours each. Cost: $250 per couple for the entire series, includes materials and a non-refundable registration fee of $50. Childbirth with Dignity Class Series : Christian Version

Includes all of the above, plus prayer and Scripture-based discussions about birth and parenting. This series will help you to get a great start as a family, so you can help your children grow up expecting to meet and know the God who loves them.

The Christian version of the class series runs for 9 consecutive nights. Each session lasts about 2-1/2 hours each. Cost: $200 per couple for the entire series, includes materials and a non-refundable registration fee of $50. Contact us for special discounts or payment plan options.
