Birth MattersTM: natural, truthful
Christelle designed the
Proactive Pregnancy Course and the Birth Matters Natural Childbirth Equipping Course to emphasize the most important choices couples can make to greatly improve their chances for normal, natural childbirths. The Birth Matters Method childbirth class series is more than just another "preparing for childbirth" class series. This course (especially if taken following the
Proactive Pregnancy course) will give you a set of "commandments" to follow that maximize your chances for a healthy pregnancy, healthy baby, and a birth that is as normal, efficient, and as comfortable as possible. Birth matters: learn what you need to know to make your Birth Day a day you will treasure. Find out what we believe about the needs and rights of laboring moms in our
Philosophies of Care.
The Birth MattersTM Method:
a natural childbirth equipping course
The Birth Matters Method is an evidence-based natural childbirth course that gives you the "Ten Commandments of Pregnancy, Birth & Breastfeeding." Following this set of ten rules offers you the best chances for a normal, healthy pregnancy, baby and birth. If you follow the pregnancy and birth commandments, and you have had a low-risk pregnancy, you have a 90-95% chance of giving birth vaginally. We are so confident that this method works that we guarantee that if you follow all ten rules, you will be satisfied with your birth experience, or we will give you your money back.

Comments from Graduates of the Birth Matters childbirth course (classroom version):
Cassie, an expectant mom, sent the following note after her series: "I just wanted to say thank you again for the classes. We really thought they were so helpful and so beneficial. I asked Ben last night after we left how helpful he thought they would be to him and he said that he really liked them, was glad we took them and that it was totally worth it. And, of course, I totally agree. :) It's so nice to hear someone's perspective who has gone through it and can give advice as to how to handle certain situations. We really appreciate all the knowledge. I will keep you updated for sure!" --C.S., expectant mom
"We have a much better, well-rounded education than if we had read a book alone." --L.J., expectant mom
"I learned more than I knew was possible." --expectant dad
"It helped to inform and prepare us for what to expect leading up to and during birth." --expectant dad
"It covered all the topics I expected (& more). I got good hands on practice. It was fun!... I feel more informed about all of my options... Really, you were great! I felt free to ask questions & got good, useable answers." --expectant mom
Sarah, an expectant mom, commented at the end of the class series that she felt, "very prepared, considering I've never done this before. I'm confident.... I felt like I received plenty of information....This series has made me feel very informed & prepared."
